The Bermuda Pilot Gig Club (BPGC) has members across the spectrum ranging in age from 14 to 70+. Some members row for the competitive and sporting aspects of the activity, others for fitness, and some to enjoy leisurely time on the water, enjoying our island’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
For persons who prefer not to participate in rowing on the water but wish to support the club, there is a Social Membership. Social members are invited to all location events, meetings and social aspects of our club.
The membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December. Membership fees will be prorated for new ‘Adult’ members who join after April 1st of each membership year. We offer new rowers three trial rows to get a taste of rowing and what our club has to offer before asking you to confirm your membership.
